I was elected to Wicklow County Council in June 2024 in the Bray West electoral area, which covers half of Bray, Kilmacanogue and Enniskerry.
I have lived in Bray since 2011 with my husband and two children.
Since 2003, I have practised as a speech and language therapist, working with autistic people and disabled adults. I have a PhD in transition planning for young disabled people moving into adult services.
Alongside speech and language therapy, I have worked as a person-centred planner. This is a rights-based process that supports disabled people to live their best lives. The principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion have been core to my everyday work practices.
Since becoming a councillor, I have been elected chair of the Social and Community Development Strategic Planning group. I sit on the Disability and Inclusion Steering Group and am the county Wicklow co-ordinator of Comhairle na nÓg.
I send monthly updates on events and my work in our community
