Cinematic Threads: From film to craft

Thanks to Made in Wicklow and Powerscourt Estate for hosting "The Cinematic Thread: From screen to craft"

The picture above is my favourite piece in the exhibition.  

I really enjoy craft and costume, so this was a perfect exhibition for me. It was amazing to see how some truly talented local craft practitioners interpreted film costumes into their own unique styles of craft.

There were film costumes from Little Women and The Tudors.  

The exhibition will be running from the 15th of February to the 2nd of March 2025 and I would really recommend taking a visit.
