Deputy Ambassador of Palestine Attends Greystones Solidarity Gathering

At this week’s Greystones solidarity meet-up, we were joined by Baker Hijazi, Deputy Ambassador of Palestine to Ireland.

The gatherings, held twice a week in the town, are about visibility and standing together to say clearly: not in our name. They are small but steady acts of solidarity, reminding passersby that people here care about justice and peace.

Mr. Hijazi spoke with those present and expressed his appreciation for the consistency of these actions. His visit highlighted the importance of local communities showing up, however modestly, to stand against violence and in support of human rights.
