Discretionary fund allocations 2025

Here is the list of projects that we will be funding this year:
1. Essential infrastructure, safety and accessibility.
Boardwalk repair and replacement (€25,000)
Albert Avenue-Traffic calming measures (€20,000)
Grass cutting and maintenance (€70,000)
Bandstand roof repair and painting (€5,000)
Master plans and feasibility studies (€5,400)
Family resource centre maintenance (€6,000)
2. Community enhancement and public amenities
People's park-railings painting and repair (€50,000)
Killarney Heights/Park Basketball court (€10,000)
Ballywaltrim Pavilion (€44,000)
Bench in Ballywaltrim recreation park (€1,800)
3. Heritage, culture and civic participation
Victorian seat backs painting (€70,000)
1798 monument replacement (€5,000)
Paddy Harris remembrance plaque (€2,000)
